The International Eurochocolate festival of Perugia is undoubtedly one of the most sought after Chocolate Festivals amongst Italians and chocolate lovers alike. The Umbrian capital will turn into a huge open-air chocolate shop! View our Perugia Hotels and book at least six months before the festival as Perugia is a small city.
The popularity of this festival continues to grow and accommodation is limited. during for the festival. The festival remains as popular as ever, with the Umbrian capital turning into a huge open-air chocolate shop, with exhibitions, workshops, internships, cooking classes, tastings, banquets and celebrations, as well as the coveted Eurochocolate Awards prize.
The festival is organised in association with many other large scale events focusing on the “food of the gods”, with exhibitions, workshops, internships, cooking classes, tastings, banquets and celebrations, as well as the coveted Eurochocolate Awards prize.
Each year new ideas and themes are developed for the festival. In previous years themes have included “Prisoners of Chocolate”, “City of Chocolate”, “Chokolate Revolution,” and even “Chocolage” (the evolution of chocolate).

Assisi is a beautiful town and well worth considering as an alternative.
