Description

Magnificent historical suite-onne of the most luxurious places to stay in Rome situated in the XVI century Palazzo on one of Rome’s famous streets near the Spanish Steps.

Emperor Napoleon III lived here in 1830. Restored to its original splendour with three magnificient rooms each more impressive than the last with antique furnishings oil paintings XVI C tapestries parquetry floors and hand stencilled walls.

Guests enter the Palazzo through huge wooden doors and pass along an elegant arcade of Doric columns with ancient artefacts on display that were excavated on site. Each guest is welcomed in an atmosphere of warmth and full respect for complete privacy and comfort.

A grand marble staircase lined with antique marble busts of Roman Emperors leads up to the entrance of the apartment.

The Residenza offers two large reception rooms and a large bedroom bathroom kitchenette and powder room.

The master bedroom featured in the main photo has a large canopied bed draped with beautiful fabrics and silks.

One of the six huge paintings in the bedroom forms the headboard while another painting opens to reveal an exquisite marble bathroom.

Recently restored the Blue Bedroom has been added at the Residenza and is an optional part of the Residenza Suite.

After passing through the Residenza” s green reception room and entering the Yellow reception room on the right you will find the Master bedroom while on the left there is a wooden staircase (16 stairs) leading to the Blue Bedroom.

The bedroom measuring 20 sqm has one double bed (165 cm. x 200 cm.) and en suite bathroom with shower and bath a cabinet closet and a small balcony.

The bedroom is so called because of its blue and white Chinese vases and it is charming and cosy although not as grand as the master bedroom in the Residenza.

A small rooftop garden suite with one double bedroom is also available should you require more rooms.

Price includes: Maid service. Continental breakfast and tax. Breakfast served with home made cakes and croissants We use only organic certified products. Housekeeping uses non-toxic cleaning agent and laundry detergents. All laundry is ironed at home by the maid. Guests receive a welcome pack containing fresh fruit and Chianti wine.
