Description

This charming Hotel in Ravello on the picturesque Amalfi Coast is located in the historic centre.  The location is tranquil with wonderful views over the mountains down to the sea. It is the only hotel in the area to be chosen by the French guide book “Relais du Silence” as an oasis of peace. It has also been described by the Italian “Charme e Relax” as Ravello’s pearl.

The four star hotel has a rich and interesting history and originally belonged to the Roman nobleman, the Marquis de Cinque with over 3000 hectares of gardens for visitors to enjoy. Mussolini has slept here as well as many other famous characters.
Carefully decorated with respect to the noble house it once was, keeping the antique marble floors and majolica tiles hand painted in the Vietri style.

Rooms

In all rooms there is a satellite TV and in most cases two TVs one visible from the bed the other from the living area. All rooms have a terrace or a balcony with sea view one room as a large veranda. Each room has a bathroom with shower or whirlpool or regular bath tub. the Junior suites and the superior rooms can have whirlpool or shower (some with hydro massage shower).

The windows overlook the garden the lemon groves and the sea.

All guests have access to the solarium and the garden area where they can rest in the shade.

The building and its rooms are furnished with antique furniture.

The courtyard restaurant has great views over the mountains and the sea. Reserve a table with a view for lunch.  Highly recommended by food and wine guides offers dishes, from the authentic traditions of the Campania region based on fresh produce from the vegetable garden.
