Description

Florence – a charming residence Bed & Breakfast, located on the top floor (with elevator) of a historical Florentine building. The rooms, each individually decorated, have walls painted in soft colors, made from natural pigments.

Oriental silks were used to tailor curtains and canopy beds. Pure linen fabrics, provided by Antica Tessitoria Busatti, decorate the lounge and the breakfast room. The roof terrace is stunning offering a marvellous panorama out over Florence.

Our philosophy is that tourists coming to Florence – whether it is for business or pleasure, for one day or for several weeks – should feel better than at home: enjoying the comfort and the autonomy of a family, but also taking advantage of all the services a hotel can offer.

During the summer, you can enjoy your breakfast on the terrace, offering a magnificent view of the Duomo and the roofs of Florence. We hold CSQA certification for gluten-free products and, on request, we serve gluten-free breakfast.

Rooms

Classic Florentine Style rooms, all displaying walls painted in different pastel colours, have preserved the antique doors and the original floors. These spacious rooms are located on the first floor of a beautiful nineteenth century building. They display elegant spaces, private bathroom, traditional florentine draperies and original antique furnitures from the nineteenth century.

The Deluxe rooms all differ from one another. They are furnished with antiques and elegant four-poster beds created by our craftsmen. The draperies, made from rich raw-silk fabrics, beautifully contrast with pastel colours of the walls.The antique terracotta, parquet and grit floors, as well as the commitment to details, make rooms warm and cozy. The bathrooms are either decorated with white Carrara marble, or with tiles handcrafted by artisans.

The elegant and spacious executive rooms all differ from one another. Some of them have a comfortable sofa-bed or a mezzanine, that can be used to accommodate a third person. They are furnished with antiques and elegant four-poster beds, created by our craftsmen. The draperies, made from rich raw-silk oriental fabrics, display beautiful and lively colours. The walls are painted with natural pigments. The family furnishings, the antique terracotta, parquet and grit floors, as well as the commitment to details create a warm and traditional atmosphere.

Area in Florence

Location: On foot, it is possible to reach all major tourist attractions in the city: the Duomo, the Accademia Gallery, Piazza della Repubblica, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria. Arriving by train is definitely a practical choice: the main train station (Santa Maria Novella) is just 15 minutes away on foot. We are also close to the Fortezza da Basso and the Palazzo dei Congressi, and our residence is easily accessible from both the motorway and the airport.
