Bed and Breakfast Florence is only a few metres away from the splendid Church of Santa Croce. A pleasant area in Florence to live in especially because it is not on the main tourism route but at the same time is very lively full of artisan workshops markets and silent nooks.

Four comfortable rooms in a small building all perfectly renovated. Each room has its own individual identity; they are all elegantly furnished and supplied with private bathroom telephone and air conditioning. The breakfast is a rich meal of bread toast juices and home made cakes served on the terrace where the jasmine welcomes you with its pleasant fragrance.

The Rooms

Aqua
On the first floor overlooks Via delle Pinzochere. It is supplied with double bed, air conditioning and a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer.

Terra
The twin beds are original Tuscan woodwork of the 19th century. This room placed on the second floor has two windows that look out on Via delle Pinzochere. Double or twin beds plus extra bed, with a private bathroom, furnished with a big shower and hairdryer and  air conditioning.

Aria
The distinguishing feature of la Trecca is its beautiful flower balcony that overlooks the jasmine covered pergola shading the terrace. Double or twin beds, private bathroom with a big shower, hairdryer, and air conditioning.

Fuoco
The most romantic and cosy of all the rooms; just below the roof it receives light through two  light wells in the ceiling. Supplied with double or twin beds, air conditioning and ensuite bathroom with shower and hairdryer.

Services

You will given a key upon meeting and kindly note there is no reception. Each room has its own individual identity; they are all elegantly furnished and supplied with private bathroom,  and air conditioning.

Our breakfast is served in a flowered terrace. The typical white Tuscan bread is ready to be spread with our home-made organic jams. For those with a sweet tooth, we offer cakes and doughnuts baked by us or, if you prefer, we can offer you a big choice of salami and cheeses. In Summer time we have our delicious bruschetta and in Spring the pandiramerino, a soft and sweet typical bread with raisins and rosemary. Throughout the day the terrace is available to anyone who wants to read or just relax there. Close to hand there is a fridge with cool beverages and everything you need to make tea or something hot to drink.

Parking

The B&B is located in a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) where access by car is strictly prohibited.

It is permissible to drive to a parking garage within the limited zone so, don’t worry if you see a no thoroughfare or some video cameras, the garage will give you safe passage.
