Description

Surrounded by the green hills of central Sicily on the top of a hill hanging between time and space is a beautiful agriturismo Bed and Breakfast on a vineyard of  200 hectares cultivated following the peasant tradition, 9 km outside Piazza Armerina.

The owners have renovated the old house and destined monastery hospitality for tourists with fourteen comfortable rooms and furnished in Sicilian style with private bathrooms and tiled floors.

Other Information

Six of these rooms have a private terrace (4 doubles and 2 triples) and two are equipped for disabled guests (1 double and 1 quadruple). structure of particular architectural merit consists of various bodies of buildings that give rise in their distribution an inner courtyard which converge adjacent structures.

The renovation was done in accordance with the traditional architectures where arches squares old beams and thick walls recreate the ancient atmosphere and warm the best traditional Sicilian architecture. The thick stone walls and the particular exposure breezy hillside protect the structure from the normal peak summer heat and ceiling fans are able to maintain a healthy and natural temperature.

The farm is open all year round and all rooms enjoy during the winter of modern central heating system.

In the restaurant you can taste the best typical Sicilian cuisine of appetizers cheese and Sicilian sausages homemade pasta roasts and grilled meats game fish vegetables and local vegetables extra virgin olive oil from our olive trees the everything correctly paired with wines produced with grapes Nero d’Avola Chardonnay Petit Verdot grown in our vineyards and work in the prestigious winery of 4000 square meters inside our company.

During the year there are periods with special menus according to seasonal production of our products to allow tasting unique dishes according to traditional recipes interpreted by our chef.
We offer Sunday in Nature: Sunday lunch with the possibility of visiting the winery visit the company crops and spaces that host our cute animals.

Services

The rooms are cleaned every day bed linen and towels are changed every three days.

The kitchen is equipped for Italian breakfast (espresso machine tea kettle fresh cornetti in the morning) but there are nice little bars close to the palazzo where the guests can have a quick and easy breakfast.

On arrival you will be given a tour of the palazzo and a welcome drink so that we can recommend them some nice sights or restaurants.

Rent includes electricity, water, change of linen and daily cleaning.
