The Villa is in the most tranquil and beautiful of the seven Aeolian islands, Salina that has an skyline made unmistakable by the two twin volcanos.

The house is made according to the typical Aeolian architecture and is characterised by its simple elegance that results from the attention paid to all details. Surrounded by impressive flora and ocean scenery, it is situated in a region, famed for its culinary delights such as capers and Veltliner wines (including the dessert wine known as the “Nector of the Gods”).

Keen walkers can take paths through the volcanic landscape to the mountain of Fossa delle Felci – a nature reserve offering a breathtaking view of the peninsula and all the way to Mount Etna on the north coast, from a height of 982m.

Behind the house stands the Dei Porri mountain in front of it the Aeolian islands of Alicudi and Filicudi rise above the horizon.

More Information

Decorated with oak beamed ceiling and some antique pieces of furniture, paintings, antique ceramic wares and lamps –  the rooms are cosy and bright. The living room is embellished by a fireplace and a comfortable sofa bed. The double bedroom with its own private ensuite has the typical colours of the marine dwellings: white and blue.

Every room has a direct access onto the large terrace through doors made of molten rock that is the symbol of Salina. The villa is well equipped and it has a wonderful sea view. Rest in the hammock under the cane roof during the hottest hours which then becomes an amazing observatory to view the unforgettable starry skies of the island at night.
