Immersed in the Natural Park of the Val d’Orcia, now proclaimed a UNESCO heritage, you will reach the estate, a historical residence with four bedrooms, from the 1800s with 38 hectares of terrain farmed organically, offering one of the most beautiful panoramas in Tuscany.

From the hill on which the villa stands, as far as the eye can see and even beyond lie fertile Tuscan vineyards, woods rich with white truffles, scented lavender fields, generous olive groves, the coloured tapestry of sown fields and the medieval towers of Montepulciano, Montalcino e Castelmuzio. The silence enjoyed from that vantage point is broken only by the chirping of the pheasants or the rustling of the bushes as the roe deer or wild boar forage past.

The 350 sqm villa, dedicated to 8 discerning guests (+infant in baby crib + child in camp bed if required) across 4 spacious suites, dates from the 1800s and is entirely handcrafted from the original stone and wood collected over centuries from the estate. It has been completely refurbished to include all modern amenities and comforts. The rooms are decorated in traditional Tuscan style, rustic-looking on the outside, modern and functional inside and with a strong focus on quality, natural materials such as wood, terracotta, wrought iron, linen and cashmere.

The villa is made up of a main house and an ancient granary connected by an internal courtyard. Here a large wood oven bears witness to the history of generations of share croppers who cooked bread and made bricks in this space.

A large bright room in the granary was converted into a yoga studio and complemented with exercise equipment, hammam and emotional shower. An ancient trough that once quenched the thirst of sheep that pastured here, now offers a heated airpool for our guests.

With a dominant sunny position during the entire day, the swimming pool is the perfect spot from which to enjoy the stunning colours of the Tuscan landscape: wispy cirrus clouds doing arabesques in the impossibly blue skies, the toasted hues of the wheat fields and exuberant green of the lawn. The salt purification system for the pool is a carefully thought through addition to the totally natural, organic concept for the property.

The swimming pool area is fully equipped for lazy and delicious barbecues under the pergola.

Adjacent to the house is a small kitchen garden from which you can pick your choice of aromatic herbs and seasonal vegetables for to add to your Tuscan feasts.
