Beautiful Suites and Apartments in a large historical castle outside Padova – Padua, in the heart of the Colli Euganei Natural Park, Il Veneto Region.  An idyllic place set on a wine estate with 90 hectares of Veneto vineyards within easy reach of important cities of art as Venice, Padua and Ferrara.

The resort has its own thermal lake with hot springs, as well as woods, vineyards and olive groves, covering an area of 90 hectares. The imposing castle, which dates back to the Middle Ages and was rebuilt in the 19th century, comprises the winery, the apartments of understated elegance, housed in historic buildings and the spacious barns, used for parties and events.

All the apartments and rooms of the castle are decorated with antique furniture, persian carpets and paintings and are equipped with every comfort.

A fabulous modern Swimming Pool with hydromassage and jet streams looks out over the garden filled with century old trees and breathtaking views over the surrounding vineyards.

Nearby there is Montegrotto Terme, famous for numerous hot thermal springs, renowned for their therapeutic properties. During World War I the Castle became King Vittorio Emanuele’s headquarters.

Il Castello Apartment

Charming rooms on the ground floor of the castle; you enter through the majestic corridor that leads to the chambers that King Vittorio Emanuele 3rd of Italy occupied in 1918. The room has been tastefully refurbished with antique furniture and prints. The room has two beds an ample bathroom with an old fashioned bath tub heating.

You enter this lovely room on the ground floor of the old barn through a large porch that overlooks the garden.
The room is pleasently furnished with antique furniture and a four poster double bed.
There is a large adjoining bathroom with shower and electric heating.

Note breakfast is not included as this is a working property. Upon request we serve home made breakfast with genuine jam eggs from our own poultry delicious cakes made for you the day before… all served with a touch of elegance in our breakfast room. charges per person. breakfast reservations are required.
