A lovely resort situated just outside the beautiful hilltop village of Montepulciano, Tuscany containing one and two bedroom apartments with pool, set in a beautiful part of countryside with views over the rolling hills. An ancient Franciscan sandstone monastery has been fully restored to it’s original splendour set on green farmland amongst the olive trees. You will have a bottle of the estate’s olive oil waiting for you in your apartment.

This resort has excellent management with villas, cottages and apartments accommodating between 1 and 6 people. An ideal base to explore in the ambience and history of the beautiful Val D’Orcia . Situated within close proximity to many historical towns you can feel the sense of history in the local community.

The apartments have been restored in one of the most ancient monasteries in Montepulciano, Siena, and they are the ideal home for relaxing weekends or holidays, amongst the famous green rolling Tuscan hills, close to Pienza, Montalcino and Siena.

The apartments are all completely unique and different one from the other regarding dimension, style and set up. The accomodations have been designed with maximum attention to details with all the comforts required to spend an unforgettable memorable holiday amongst the green Tuscan hills.

Being one of the oldest Monastery and farm property in Montepulciano, this Country Resort is listed by the Beautiful Arts Governing Body therefore rightly preventing any architectural alterations to be carried out.
All villas, cottages and apartments are consequently totally different in size, shape and layout from one another, each one is unique.

Two Bedroom Casa uniquely furnished with the original furniture used by the major in the 1850’s. The terracotta floor tiles were initially laid in the 14th century and the wooden doors full of charm, character and history date back to 1650’s. The walls of the living room painted with colourful frescoes done by order of Ilario Franceschi illustrates our surrounding country side and lakes. This marvelous living room, furnished with comfortable large sofas and coffee tables, gets ample natural light from the large window with stunning views of the country side. The only modern feature in the living room is the presence of satellite television and WIFI.

The large kitchen, with a table for 4, is a traditional Tuscan style kitchen made from oak wood with all the necessities required to prepare a delicious meal whilst enjoying the views. The main focal point of this room is the original open fireplace used for cooking in the previous centuries, now listed by the Beautiful Arts Council.

The master bedroom is completely furnished with 18th century rosewood and oak furniture and one double orthopedic mattress set in the original heavy brass bed frame. The splendid views from the master bedroom are of the famous rolling hills, olive groves and farms. The second bedroom has late eighteenth century furniture similar to the master bedroom with one double bed consisting of an orthopedic mattress. The bathroom consists of a double sink, toilet, bidet and shower. For the comfort of all our guests, all personal bed and shower linen is made from the highest quality cotton and Italian fabrics.

18 m swimming pool constructed in travertine, clinker and with an internal Jacuzzi, has been specifically build away from the property allowing those afternoon sleepers to catch the odd hour in total serenity. 4 hectares of garden and 4 terraces with magnificent views allowing you to have privacy and tranquility. Underground car parks to protect your cars and unobstructed views of our forests and valleys.

Linen is changed twice a week, on your arrival and mid week.

Prices include taxes and use of Swimming Pool. Covered parking is provided.
Heating is to be paid separately on consumption per apartment. A security deposit of Euro, per apartment is required on arrival. During medium and high season we only accept bookings from Sat to Sat. Sunday arrivals not allowed as reception is closed.
